Pajiba is reporting that Nu Image/Millennium Films is changing things up with their Red Sonja remake. It looks like that lead actress Rose McGowan and director Douglas Aarniokoski have left the project. McGowan recently took a role in Conan which could back up another part of their story. There has been an offer put out to Megan Fox to play the redheaded warrior. I think it's somewhat of an improvement bringing Fox on board. She seems to fit well in genre roles and I actually enjoyed her in Jennifer's Body. They also claim they will be looking for rewrites to the script. It's unknown if Robert Rodriguez will stay on as the film's producer.
