Look out Transformers, Robotech, Voltron and Evangelion there's another robot-based action franchise in the works. Gaiking best known in North America as Shogun Warriors which was a successful toyline, anime series and Marvel comics series. The characters are massive in Europe and Japan so it's got an international appeal. Now there is a live-action film in the works it's still only in script phase but they've managed to release test footage as the film's teaser. Similar to what we saw with Tron Legacy a while back. They're also using the same CGI technology which was used in Benjamin Button.
