Meg Foster Joins Rob Zombie's Lords Of Salem

Not much movement has been announced concerning Rob Zombie's return to original material with his next film The Lords Of Salem. Besides the film's plot and inclusion of his wife Sherry Moon Zombie as having a role, nothing had been updated in a while. Rob has announced on Facebook that cult actress Meg Foster will lead a coven of witches that menaces the town. Zombie went so far as to post this image on the site. Foster is best known for cult roles in films such as They Live, Masters Of The Universe and Leviathan.

Rob Zombie To Write & Direct Lords of Salem

We've been hearing for a while what director Rob Zombie's next project will be. Previously it had been the remake of the Blob and before that his wrestler film Tyrannosaurs Rex. Now Deadline confirms he's signed on to write and direct Lords of Salem. The film which takes it's title from one of his songs is set in contemporary Salem, where the inhabitants receive a demonic visit from a 300-year old coven of witches. I'm curious if we'll ever see Werewolf Women of The SS get the full length treatment.
