For months now we've been wondering who Kevin Pennington was playing in The Avengers ever since he Tweeted he joined the production. Now a Marvel Studios promotional contest for Avengers which was posted on
DailyBlam exposes Pennington's role as
Agent Wendell Vaughn. Wendell is also known as Quasar and eventually develops superpowers.
The promo also reveals there will be three more SHIELD Agents involved. It very much looks like Marvel is aiming to cast for their SHIELD spin-off film with the amount of Agents which are being cast for Avengers. The three possible roles could be Sharon Carter, Carol Danvers (Ms. Marvel) and Barbara Morse (Mockingbird).
