Jeremy Renner & Noomi Rapace To Star In Witch Hunters

Norwegian news site Dagsavisen has confirmation from Jeremy Renner himself that he and Noomi Rapace (Dragon Tattoo) will star in Tommy Wirkola's (Dead Snow) Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. The film focuses on the two siblings now adults who hunt witches and kill them with pump-action shotguns in contemporary setting. Hopefully this could be the new Shaun of The Dead, Zombieland or Evil Dead 2.

“I liked Dead Snow, and I like seeing that Scandinavian directors have a combination of horror and humor. I think Hansel and Gretel will be awesome. I play him and Noomi Rapace plays Gretel. They have become adults, are damned and going on witch hunting.”
