I wouldn't be shocked if Benedict had been contacted for the role of Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange (Doctor Strange). He's a rising star and a film like this could be many being offered to him at this point. The project has been talked about in great length by Kevin Feige and was even reference in Thor. Strange's amulet made an appearance in the film as one of the many relics of Odin's vault. It's possible that the other projects which include Ant-Man, Black Panther, Iron Fist, Black Widow, SHIELD and Hawkeye could also be on deck.

Disney/Marvel Studios Announces Two Untitled Movies For 2014
HollywoodReporter says that Disney and Marvel Studios have announced their release dates for 2014. The two dates slated include May 16th and June 27th but it's unknown which characters these films will focus on. The site assumes the dates could be for Captain America 2 and Doctor Strange.
