FIRST LOOK: Wrath of The Titans

More Actors Join I, Frankenstein

When Aaron Eckhart (Dark Knight) was first cast as the lead in Stuart Beattie's I, Frankenstein I was sort of skeptical about the whole project. The genre hybrid is based on the comic by Kevin Grevioux who co-created the Underworld franchise with Len Wiseman. I assume Lionsgate wants to recreate the genre bending action concept for themselves. Unlike Underworld, this world has all sorts of monsters from what I understand this movie will feature demons, zombies, gargoyles and Eckhart as a heroic take on the Frankenstein monster.

HeatVision reports some casting additions which include Yvonne Strahovski (Killer Elite, Chuck), Miranda Otto (The Two Towers, Return of The King) and Socratis Otto have joined the film. Bill Nighy is in talks to play the demon leader who is the main baddie. Nighy is no stranger to genre films starring in the Underworld trilogy, Dead Man's Chest, At World's End, Jack The Giant Killer, Total Recall, Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Shaun of The Dead.

Will Yun Lee Joins Total Recall

ShowBlitz reports that Will Yun Lee has joined Len Wiseman's Total Recall reboot. Supporting roles in the film are quickly coming together as production is expected to start up soon in Pinewood Studios Toronto. The impressive cast includes Colin Farrell, Bryan Cranston, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, John Cho, Bill Nighy and Bokeem Woodbine.

John Cho Joins Len Wiseman's Total Recall

Casting is starting to quickly come together for Total Recall as director Len Wiseman fills the rest of the supporting roles. EW reports that John Cho (Star Trek) is the newest addition to the film. Cho will play the fast-talking rep for Rekall who convinces Douglas (Farrell) to get the memory implant. Starring as Douglas Quaid is Colin Farrell (In Bruges, Minority Report), Kate Beckinsale will play his wife Lori, Jessica Biel his revolutionary girlfriend Melina, Bryan Cranston (John Carter, Drive) is confirmed for the villain, Bill Nighy (Underworld) is in talks for role of the resistance leader and Bokeem Woodbine will play Douglas' friend.

Bill Nighy In Talks For Len Wiseman's Total Recall

HeatVision reports that Bill Nighy (Pirates 2-3, Underworld, Shuan of The Dead, ) is in talks for the role of resistance leader Quatto in Total Recall. In the original film Kuato was a mutant but it's unknown if this version of the character will be too. Since it's been assumed the Mars colony is also gone in the remake. Nighy would join Bryan Cranston, Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel and Bokeem Woodbine (The Big Hit).

FIRST LOOK: Ewan McGregor & Eddie Marsden On The Set Of Jack The Giant Killer

Actors Confirmed For Wrath of The Titans

ComingSoon received the Wrath of The Titans press release which again confirms returning cast members Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes and Queen Andromeda now played by Rosamund Pike. Not previously mentioned is Danny Huston who is reprising the role of Poseidon. Along with new additions Edgar Ramirez as Ares, Tobey Kebbell as Argenor and Bill Nighy as Hephaestus the blacksmith to the gods. Oddly enough Gemma Arterton who ended up the love interest in the first film doesn't appear as in the cast. Her role could possibly be cut or even in the process of being re-cast.

Ian McShane Will Play The King In Jack The Giant Killer

HeatVision reports that Ian McShane (Deadwood, Pirates 4) has been cast as the king in Bryan Singer's Jack The Giant Killer. Nicholas Hoult (X-Men First Class) plays farmer boy/hero Jack and Eleanor Tomlinson as the kidnapped princess he quests to rescue from the giants. Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor, Bill Nighy and John Kassir (Tales From The Crypt) also have roles.

Eleanor Tomlinson Is Princess Isabella In Jack The Giant Killer

Deadline reports that relative unknown actress Eleanor Tomlinson (Alice In Wonderland) has been cast as Princess Isabella in Bryan Singer's Jack The Giant Killer. It stars Nicholas Hoult as Jack along with Stanley Tucci as the villain, Bill Nighy as the leader of the giants and Ewan McGregor is also in talks for a role as well.

Ewan McGregor Joins Jack The Giant Killer

HeatVision reports there is another excellent addition to Bryan Singer's Jack The Giant Killer. Ewan McGregor is final talks to play the leader of the King's elite guard. I'm guessing that Warner Bros. He would join Nicholas Hoult, Stanley Tucci and Bill Nighy. I wouldn't be shocked to see Warner Bros. developing this as a new fantasy adventure franchise trying to capture the interest of Harry Potter fans.

Nicholas Hoult To Star In Jack The Giant Killer

We previously learned that Stanley Tucci and Bill Nighy were cast in Bryan Singer's Jack The Giant Killer. Now there is word from Deadline that Nicholas Hoult (Clash of The Titans, A Single Man) has been offered the lead as Jack. Hoult tested for the role months ago and is becoming known for high profile roles. He'll be seen next in X-Men First Class and is also starring in Mad Max: Fury Road alongside Tom Hardy which shoots later in the year.

Ramirez, Kebbell, Nighy & Atwell In Talks For Wrath of The Titans

TheWrap is reporting on some new casting information for sequel to Clash of The Titans which is titled Wrath of The Titans. We already know that Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Liam Nesson and Ralph Fiennes are reprising their roles.

Edgar Ramirez (Domino, Carlos) is in final negations to play God of War Ares which had previously been rumored for Javier Bardem. Tobey Kebbell (RockNRolla, Dead Man Shoes, Prince of Persia) is also in talks for the role of Agenor who might be the son of Poseidon a half god similar to Perseus. James Franco had been rumored for the role of Agenor previously. Bill Nighy has been offered the role of Hephaestus the immortal blacksmith of the Gods but isn't as solid as the previous offers.

In an odd twist Warner Bros. and director Jonathan Liebesman are looking to recast the role of Princess Andromeda which had been portayed by Alexa Davalos in the original film. The site lists Captain American actress Hayley Atwell as one of the many actresses testing for role. Others include French actress Clemence Poesy who is best known from In Bruges, 127 Hours and Deathly Hollows. Also Dominique McElligott (Moon) and Georgina Haig (Wasted On The Youth) who both tested for Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Man which went to Emma Stone. Black Swan supporting actress Janet Montgomery is also in the mix. I expect the role to be more than just the girl in distress considering the involvement of Atwell and Poesy.
