Hollywood Reporter says that Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen) has signed on to star in The Unblinking Eye. The film written and directed by Michael Bassett (Solomon Kane) focuses on a homicide detective John Callisto (Morgan), now a retired recluse after being nearly murdered by a serial killer, is tracked down by a relentless journalist. As the two confront each other, dark secrets from both their pasts come to light.


Edgar Wright told MTV now that he's finished with Scott Pilgrim he'll get back to work on the Ant-Man script.


Hollywood Reporter says that Scott Kosar (The Machinist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre & Amityville Horror remakes) will rewrite Charlie Hunnam's Vlad script for Summit and Brad Pitt's Plan B.


Eli Roth is becoming very impressive producer he's already The Last Exorcism (Cotton) which was just picked up by Lionsgate. He'll now also be producing The Other Woman for StudioCanal/Strike Entertainment. The film is about a scorned mistress who makes a film for her ex-lover, is set to shoot in late spring. Roth told Variety the film will be "the worst nightmares of those who have had extramarital affairs, and the sickest fantasies of those who have been scorned."

Jim Sturgess, Matthew MacFadyen and Colin Firth will star in The Promised Land. Michael Winterbottom will direct the film who recently made the controversial The Killer Inside Me. The film "follows two British officers, one played by , as he tries to track down Jewish militant groups who are responsible for terror attacks against British soldiers and Arabs in the lead up to the partition of Palestine in 1948."


Micheal Fassbender, Jamie Bell, Judi Dench, Sally Hawkins and Imogen Poots have joined the cast of Jane Eyre.
