Hollywood Reporter says that Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen) has signed on to star in The Unblinking Eye. The film written and directed by Michael Bassett (Solomon Kane) focuses on a homicide detective John Callisto (Morgan), now a retired recluse after being nearly murdered by a serial killer, is tracked down by a relentless journalist. As the two confront each other, dark secrets from both their pasts come to light.

Roth told Variety the film will be "the worst nightmares of those who have had extramarital affairs, and the sickest fantasies of those who have been scorned."
